Exactly a week ago I completed my first year as Web developer and without a doubt it has been the most challenging task I have come across so far.

Having completed Computer Science Engineering 8 years ago and not writing a single line of code since didn’t help much but determination and perseverance go a long way and today more than ever I feel excited about my career and the endless opportunities it will bring as I continue to learn, learn, practice and hopefully master languages/patterns/best practices/etc.

Today is also the day that I started writing my blog; but why writing a blog? aren’t you ‘busy’ enough learning all those languages/technologies etc?  I believe a blog will be a great way for me to share knowledge with others while helping me improve my writing, drill current knowledge deeper inside my brain and make me stay on top of current technologies (not that I’m there anyway but one day !).

Some of the content you can expect to find here:

  • .NET MVC and Web API (a bit of  Web Forms too)
  • Javascript and Nodejs
  • AngularJS
  • Testing frameworks for all of the above
  • Kentico CMS

Thanks for taking the time to read this post, I’m sure the next one will be way more interesting !.
